Hawaii V-Tuber Online Personality Service

Persona: The Anime-Persona is someone wants to show the story of the Character and is a real person behind a camera that makes people feel comfortable. This feels very real and online there are little, loose, or no repercussions often times for the-chat and that makes them feel all-in. Being in a chat is no substitution for real-life chatter, but the feeling-is-fulfilled (emotion) digitally and even the body knows its not real (reality), but the brain sure thinks it is (logic). So the real people forget that its reality and get lost in the content of vibing in the anime-world as is usually done when people go into a environment of complete fandom. The people who are being attracted like the same things, the algorithm sends them the same niches, and they are ultimately spending valuable time watching "Live" videos (On Screen), short clips (On a Mobile Device), and listening to their voice singing (Daily Commute). It comes to a point where even if the V-Tuber themselves knows it's all real, but the people online forget that it is real. The parasocial relationships are very attractive because these Virtual-Entertainers in the Virtual-Entertainer Space are in a Virtual-Fictional World that is fully interactive with the people engaging with them that offers: intimacy of a clique, accessibility from past content, and idealized companionship due to a chat not being one person, and its hard to find people to talk to elsewhere in the world of overconsumption.

Demand to be Filled: This is rooted from the pandemic times when people enjoyed the comforts of home instead of the experience of outside the home. The experience of not being lonely at home was something that most people didn't have access to. Influencers, V-Tubers, and Creators filled that gap of social connection people were looking for and the risky decision from these people had payed off in a big way making all sorts of in person experiences have to completely rethink what they were selling in the ways of social-experiences. Alcohol Bars, Entertainment Hang Outs, Nightclubs, and more had lost the their edge of being only places people could socialize and many Real Life Events that were much larger, more highly produced, and less frequent would take a lot of the market. Hence the growth of Festivals, Conventions, and Fairs. It had negative effects as well as it gave the sense of companionship, belonging, and emotional support without the complexities or risks of real-world interactions. This would result in people taking less responsibility for their real life social relationships. If people went further they would go into "Social Search Engines" like (Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram) that were tied to jobs (Linked, Indeed), and even romantic interests (Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, eHarmony). And all run by a Companies stealthy Algorithm to serve the Business and not the person (Disguised as a Service).

Companionship Service: VTubers constantly interact with chat to make sure that a topic is on track, call out names to make people feel seen, and respond to specific comments that enhance the discussion to get more interesting. This is based on the V-Tubers personal choices of direction of where they want the discussion to go it still feels like they're talking directly to you and to the consumer it feels personal. Even though it's a one-sided connection on the viewers part they now feel part of their world. Unlike a "real" person, or talent, or celebrity who has their public and private life, VTubers embody a persona within a controlled digital space of make believe where only what is shown is what was meant to be seen. VTubers stream for hours as they are "there" for their audience to foster a routine that gives the feeling of "companionship" that is a one sided reliable-relationship, especially for those who are isolated in their daily lives from the professionalism of the workplace, the cost of hanging out in person and going to places, and old-fashioned cliquish social circles.

Online is the World of the Home: People who are ditching reality usually do it for financial reasons. It's not that people don't want to see real musicians, or go real places, or meet real people, but the virtual offers a free experience with the payment of time. Virtual concerts for example have a clear advantages that traditional live shows often can't match, which is the world of fiction and that none of it is real. There are no cost barriers as previously stated, no plane ticket to see the artist, no hotel fee, or expensive concert ticket, but its all free from a screen that is on a mobile device or at home. Geographically limited or financially limited audiences are now all a part of the fandom. You don't have to worry about the crowds (Digital Living), its as convenient as "home-delivery" (Door Dash), and no overpriced foods from being a "captured audience" forced to pay more. Escapism is expanding and people were socializing way more than on traditional social media, because people are on the go, it fueled new innovation with new tastes and demands.
