Virtual YouTubers

Virtual YouTubers

The Anime V-Tuber Blueprint is a collaboration of "Content" and "Tech" with "Fan Power". It originates from a International Version of Idol Creation in Japan that is still developing.

Talent Watch: The Agency is on the look out for talent and it can do it the traditional way like "Auditions" with shows like Brown Bags to Stardom being Hawaii's old way of doing it. Online personalities are the bread and butter and developing, crafting real entertainment skills (singing, voice acting, dancing, comedy), with a clear vision makes for a captivating world of the V-Tubers imagination and opinions.

Character Crafting: A Summary of what is needed to survive out there is: a sense of authenticity, storytelling with relatability, engaging with the chat, energetic enthusiasm as it is contagious, some humor, and a practitioner in charisma. A V-Tuber Agency or group of V-Tubers in a group help one another sharpen their persona, lore, and overall appeal to fit a desired brand of audience. Talents are launched as "Generations" to build a shared story for fans. A V-Tuber must have motion capture and streaming tech for quality control that gives people a reason to actually come back. Character models are huge investments with the detailed design, fluid movement, wardrobe of outfits, and special animations. VTubers typically, chat, do something digitally (draw, games, sing, edit) and special guests, shows, and consistent video serieses. Singing wise there are lots of original songs, covers, skits, and animations. Music's a massive earner and key to the "Virtual idol" V-Tuber Agency feel. Talents usually have the agency leverage short-clips fan-made and official on YouTube Shorts and TikTok and collect money associated to them.

Anime Dreams, the building of a "Make Believe World" their own metaverse for interactive fan experiences and concerts that escapes the real world. Monetization can come from Super Chats (donations), channel memberships, ads from YouTube/Twitch. This world is to sell Figures, clothes, plushies, keychains, art books, digital goods, limited collab drops tied to events or milestones are common. Partnering with game companies, anime, food brands for tie-ins and sponsorships are big too. Music Royalties from streaming and digital sales. They build what are known these days as "Fan Army's" and its "General Community" of casuals that give each VTuber a unique brand, pulling in different fan groups from different targeted audiences. VTubers are super interactive with chat, building strong "Parasocial Relationships" that are fandoms with a sense of personal connection. It gives off a Illusion of Closeness, The Avatar Effect, and Community Support to create what is known as the "V-Tuber Phenomena".

Computer Setup Suggestions: V-Tubing, especially with 3D models or multiple programs, is CPU-intensive, so you need a pretty strong Computer that is an investment in itself. The popular choices for V-Tubers are the: Intel Core i7/i9 or AMD Ryzen 7/9 processors. Graphics cards are for rendering 3D models and the games they play and they tend to use NVIDIA RTX series with NVENC encoder that offloads streaming encoding from the computer. You can never have enough ram and 32GB is recommended for smooth streams without much breaking in animation. Storage is important to place video files as a back up and the main-storage uses Solid State Drives (SSD) for its much faster file communication in compared to normal Storage Drives as it is meant for programs and not purely storage. A common web search is "V Tuber PC build guide".

Other Equipment Involves: Microphone equipment such as Blue Yeti, Audio-Technica AT2020, Shure SM7B, or various XLR mics with an audio interface (like Focusrite Scarlett). A Web Camera that is essential for motion capture with its face-tracking feature like with apps TrueDepth camera, but Logitech C922 is also used for Basic Web-Cameras. Even if its motion capture the cameras still react to light and a ring light or softboxes is still recommended for further immersion and functional options of lighting with character models. Stream deck like Elgato are popular for scene switching, sound effects, and stream controls and is a must. Headphones that are closed back are for prevention of audio bleed and makes it cancels out the background noises like birds, house mates, and pets. Dual Monitors or even Two PC Setups can be used to maximize performance and stability.

Hawaii V-Tubers

Hawaii V-Tubers need a hook that is integrated that is infused with Hawaii itself for its identity, the unique draw, and to be a scene of its own. It starts with the character (does it look Hawaii?), the content (is it Hawaii sometimes?), and the community (is it Hawaii and International friendly?). The lore of Hawaii is a way to craft characters from. Japanese x Hawaiian x Personality, those are what is needed, yes, the Japanese approach as well should be incorporated for maximum marketing, Hawaii scene vibe, and Personality approach. The background music tracks should have a signature sound and if its used for the "Background Music Vibe" for the world of Hawaii V-Tubers it should be  royalty free and community driven. V-Tubers in this space would need a shared story or narrative of local, hawaii, hawaiian, in order to leverage the distinctness of Hawaii. The world of groups would be separate as it would be a sub-world of the local-vibes from the overall Hawaii V-Tuber scene. Abusing the audience with starting with iconic, authentic, and beach-day vibes is a good way to start branding with floral motifs, lei, Hawaii colors, and emphasizing the standard is beach-cloths are an everyday attire with coverage over the skin being a much more emphasized distinction with the hot weather being the excuse for provocative outfit-bait that can vary in its degree as some may look very modest or outdated depending on the choice of the personality. This is all for a branding that can't be ignored as Hawaii.

People can choose to be a independent v tuber that chooses things that are off brand, but then they are thrown in the coliseum against the masses of all V-Tubers instead of specialized V-Tubers. Being a regional specific V-Tuber lowers the competition and allows for the distinctions to make the scene feel like it can stand on its own without the rest of the General V-Tuber Market. The markets that currently exist is a General "International V-Tuber Market" and developments for a "International Hawaii V-Tuber Market" would be separate from the overall scene for those looking for a different vibe that a straight Japan-Export with English Speaking Talents that tend to be Japanese Speaking. The Hawaii V-Tuber Market would be a Hawaii-Japan Export with English Speaking Talent that would like to be Japanese Speaking.

Hawaii V-Tuber Thematics, by having a more specific rule set of what to expect from Hawaii V-Tubers there will be expectations, promises, and a mutual understanding of what would be the "Typical Hawaii V-Tuber" instead of no distinct expectation at all. People tend to have no expectation, special interest, and find it tedious to find upcoming talent that are non-specialized. New Talents find it scary, risky, and difficult to break into a scene that requires inclusivity as there will be a lot of overlapping content in the beginning stages and later in their carriers with varying success will the freedom to create unique appearances and content be more apparent. But it takes a lot of time and effort people are not willing to risk to enter a new upcoming technologic way of entertainment.
